Ceramica Rondine’s idea is to apply the vintage, recycling concept to a more classic solution, reinventing and refreshing the material, but gently and with a subtle approach.
Select and refined wood, skillfully aged to appeal to those who love that classic style blended with a warm nuance of vintage.

Riding the wave of the recent return to vogue of vintage and recycled goods, Ceramica Rondine has reinterpreted oak, the most widespread European wood ingrained in tradition, thanks to a selection of classical colours with warm hues: Blanc, Brune, Natural and Greige.
The soft structure, the warm colours that mingle together, the signs of wear, a mark of long-standing skill and experience, are all features that make Decapè the ideal product for modern homes, available in 20x120 and 30x120 formats (both rectified).
The warm atmospheres created by wood find the perfect setting in bathrooms tiled with Decapè Blanc. The decorative herringbone pattern breaks the general layout of the tiles and gives the environment an elegant and vibrant feel.
Delicate tones and pastel hues perfectly enhance the timeless elegance of white. By avoiding overly harsh contrasts, this colour selection contributes towards creating a harmonious ambience and instils a pleasant, relaxed sensation.
The choice of unique boards selected to create Decapè makes it possible to reproduce ceramic surfaces with deep, natural designs, perfectly integrating into an original workspace full of personality. Thanks to its superior technical specifications, Decapè adapts perfectly to use in business premises subject to light footfall.
Over 50 shades of grey can be achieved by mixing white, black and other hues. All of them share the sensation this colour range arouses in people, regardless of latitude: earnestness and authoritativeness.
However, there is always a risk of going overboard and creating environments that border on the monotony, perhaps even the banal.
Therefore, it is not only important to choose the right shades but also the right quantities, ranging from cold greys (with soft blue hues) to warm ones (with hints of yellow), and all the neutrals in between. In environments where grey tends to dominate, it is recommended to insert hints of white to increase luminosity and a few touches of colour to break the monotony.
Greys are always modern (especially the warmer tones) and are lit up by the strong luminosity that highlight their timeless elegance.
This provides an extremely refined and balanced palette, where the strength of contrasting colours is soothed by the tranquility and serenity of grey tones.
The recovery of architectural spaces once used for industry or as workshops is now common practice. Decapè Brune is the ideal product to renew with style the floors of these areas, preserving their original flavor and at the same time guaranteeing long-lasting beauty.
The contrast of an accent wall in a different shade from the rest of the room enhances the personality of the whole space.
When the conservation of original architectural features is combined with an expert use of materials, a warm and welcoming environment is created. In this context, Decapè Brune recovers with a vintage feel all the pleasant sensations associated with wood, while maintaining the technical advantages of stoneware.
VINTAGE: FASHION AND STYLE THAT NEVER DIE: The term 'vintage' defines period fashion also intended as historic and cultural wealth. A 'vintage' accessory distinguishes itself and stands out from the generic 'second hand' because its main feature is not the fact that it has been used in the past, but the value it has acquired over time.
Its peculiarity lies in the fact that it is a testimony of style of a past epoch, and that it has left a profound mark on iconic traits of a particular moment in the history of design.
With Decapè Natural even modern environments and interior designs can acquire classical connotations, thanks to the elegance of the latest generation of wood-effect stoneware.
A colour range that attracts the eye to the most contemporary trends generating alternative ideas and combinations. Thanks to the blusher-pink and earth-like hues, walls can be coordinated with the most modern furnishings, whereas mustard and red project us into the future.
Traditional parquet floors are usually characterised by an l thermal conductivity coefficient either less than or equal to 0.17 W/m*K, or in other words, they are bad heat conductors and have scant radiating properties. To get around these intrinsic characteristics of wood, the choice of the ideal parquet is inevitably extremely limited to woods with low expansion properties, preferably oak or teak, and measuring no more than one centimetre thick.
Vice versa, all stoneware floors by Ceramica Rondine feature high thermal conductivity properties varying from 1 to 1.3 Watt/m°K and are particularly suited for underfloor heating systems, regardless of sizes and aesthetic effects, providing clients with the vastest possible choice. Furthermore, an underfloor heating system with stoneware tiles translates into economic savings for the client who ends up with greater distances between heating pipes, and therefore fewer pipes, meaning lower start-up costs and less water to heat, and consequently lower running costs.
